One of the great things about the World of Warcraft user interface is the ability to install community-authored addons that enhance the functionality of the client interface you use to play the game. However, little instruction is given on how to install those addons. That World of Warcraft Public Test folder will still have it’s own Data folder within the ptr folder negating the entire purpose of having it in the World of Warcraft folder. We’ll need to either wait for the 8.1.5 PTR or an updated for the BDA to be pushed out (or a new 8.1 PTR installer).

How do I install an AddOn?To manually install your mods:1. Download your chosen addon2. Extract the files to a folder on your desktop.3.

Open your WoW folder.If using a PC, the typical default install path is:C:Program FilesWorld of WarcraftIf using a Macintosh, the typical default install path is:Macintosh Main HD (or whatever you renamed it to, if you did)/Applications/World of Warcraft4. DESCRIPTION this mod gives you a new craftable and upgradable set of light armor that you can find under. Skyrim So, I'm about to start a new playthrough and I'm looking for any lore friendly armor mods/ armor bundles. I'm going to play as a male nord archer. I prefer light armor, but heavy can do it too. I tend to avoid mods like immersive armors due to the fact, that It's cost me quite some crashes. Thx in advance:). If you don't give us your complete install path, all we can do is guess as to what the problem may be.3. Be as descriptive as you can. Just posting you cant get xyz mod to work will result in no responce to your help request. The more information you can provide the faster some one will respond.

How To Install Wow Addons

Wrathbringer OK, since you use Winrar the process is a little different. After having saved the downloaded addon folder to your desktop, you should now have an icon of stacked books labeled with the addons name. Double click on that icon the Winrar window will open up highlight every folder related to the addon click on the 'Extract to' button located at the top of the Winrar window locate the directory where the addon will be installed, which should be inside of the World of WarcraftInterfaceAddOns folder. I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time. When you say they're not showing up in the game, do you mean that they're not on the Addons button in the character select screen, or that they aren't there when you try to log in? If they're not updated to the latest patch, you'll need to open up the Addons menu from character selection and check 'Load out of date addons'. If they aren't on that list, or the Addons button doesn't show up, I would check your install path.
